BuffaloNiagara Association of REALTORS®
Supports Mike Ranzenhofer in Race for 61st Senate District
Amherst, New York - Citing a desire to protect taxpayers and property rights, the Buffalo Niagara Association of REALTORS® (BNAR) announced today that the trade organization is supporting Mike Ranzenhofer for the seat being vacated by Mary Lou Rath in the 61st State Senate District.
“With the support of the Board of Directors and our membership, we want to continue to reinforce how important strong, consistent leadership is necessary for Western New York and the region to move forward economically while providing the fine quality of life the people in Upstate New York deserve,” said James Knight, 2008 BNAR president.
“Thanks to Mr. Ranzenhofer’s background, position on key homeowner issues and vision for this community, we think he is just the man for the job.” In addition to his experience in government, Knight specifically cited Mr. Ranzenhofer’s record in the Erie County Legislator of having never voted for a tax increase.
“I greatly appreciate the support of the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors for their support of my candidacy for State Senate,” said Mike Ranzenhofer. “As our Senator, my top priority will be to provide much needed property tax relief to homeowners and businesses.”
Mike Ranzenhofer has been endorsed by the Republican, Conservative, and Independence parties. New York’s 61st Senate District includes part of the City of Tonawanda, the Towns of Amherst, Clarence, Newstead and Tonawanda, and the Villages of Akron, Kenmore, and Williamsville in Erie County and all of Genesee County.
