A Special Note From Senator-Elect Mike Ranzenhofer
It feels like just yesterday that I announced my candidacy for the New York State Senate on the steps of the County Courthouse in Genesee County and at the Center for Tomorrow at the University at Buffalo in Erie County. As I campaigned door-to-door, attended chicken dinners and pancake breakfasts, and walked in parade after parade, the voters across Erie and Genesee County made it clear that they desired real change in Albany.
I am forever grateful for the support, sincerity, and kindness of the voters, who opened their homes businesses, and organizations to discuss the important issues facing our community. The voters truly made it a pleasure to campaign in the 61st State Senate District.
In addition, thank you to the many volunteers who made my campaign a truly grassroots movement. Volunteers made a huge difference. So many people gave countless hours to make phone calls, go door-to-door, out up lawn signs, and help with all the campaign mailers. We couldn't have been successful without each and every one of you.
Our victory on Election Day represents a victory for the taxpayers who want to see New York State cut wasteful spending, lower taxes, and stop the mandates. Only by taking these steps will we create a more favorable business climate which will stimulate job growth.
As your State Senator, I'll always remember the reason you sent me to represent you in Albany.
I'm very excited and looking forward to serving you as your next State Senator!
